Tanya Donelly's alternative rock quartet followed up their massively successful debut with a significantly heavier, more guitar-driven sophomore effort. Produced by legendary classic rock veteran Glyn Johns, the recording polishes the band's signature dream-pop elements into muscular, highly melodic stadium rock. Despite strong critical reception and excellent songwriting, the album failed to meet commercial expectations, leading to the group's dissolution shortly after.
