Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded partly in the Democratic Republic of Congo during a time of regional conflict, the composer's fifth album replaces his earlier guitar and string arrangements with punishing, synthesized distortion and acoustic percussion. The aggressive, physical soundscapes reflect the volatile environments of its conception.
