Album Notes & Community Reviews

The incredibly successful debut from the British singer-songwriter established his intricate, percussive acoustic guitar style. Supported by a tight backing band featuring cello and double bass, the record presents an intensely melancholic, introspective, and commercially appealing brand of contemporary folk.
