Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sharply pivoting away from the bright, acoustic folk-pop of his massively successful debut, the British singer-songwriter delves into significantly darker, electrified territory. Heavily influenced by post-rock, the sprawling tracks utilize delay-soaked electric guitars and moody, atmospheric tension to explore themes of fractured relationships and modern alienation. The bold stylistic shift was critically praised as a stunning display of artistic maturity.
