Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released shortly before he achieved global fame as one half of Everything But The Girl, Watt's debut solo album is a quiet masterclass in sparse, jazz-inflected acoustic folk. Featuring stripped-down arrangements and delicate saxophone accents, the record possesses a uniquely tender, autumnal atmosphere. It perfectly captures the sophisticated, jazz-leaning aspirations of the early 80s British neo-acoustic movement.
