Album Notes & Community Reviews

A stylistic departure for the duo, 'Count Bateman' leans heavily into acoustic-driven indie folk and singer-songwriter traditions. The album strips back some of the band's previous rock layers, focusing instead on intimate, narrative-heavy compositions with a warm, lo-fi production. Its introspective and often sentimental lyrics explore themes of nostalgia, love, and urban life, showcasing a more mellow and pastoral side of Frog's musical identity.
