Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a notably prolific period as the band's third album in fourteen months, 'Frog for Sale' thematically investigates how money interferes with love through eccentric, character-driven narratives. Inspired by songwriters like Paul McCartney and Buddy Holly, the album's genre-hopping sound ranges from anti-folk to baroque pop, creating a distinct juxtaposition between bright, jaunty arrangements and the wistful, often melancholic lyrical delivery. This sonic tension underscores the record's core stories of longing and frustration, continuing the band's evolution into more intricate musical and lyrical territory.
