Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Mercury Prize-winning artist expands his theatrical, piano-driven sound into bizarre, highly progressive baroque pop. Inspired heavily by finding his own US visa describing him as an 'alien of extraordinary abilities,' the album tackles themes of global displacement, political refugees, and the ongoing Syrian conflict. It is a wildly unpredictable, deeply eccentric display of vocal and compositional ambition.
