Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally conceived as a standalone concept album before transitioning to the stage, this Broadway cast recording captures the epic, Cold War-themed rock musical. The intricate compositions seamlessly merge theatrical show tunes with melodic pop-rock, reflecting the grandiose pop ambitions of its renowned Swedish composers. The complex, historical narrative navigates international political rivalries and romantic betrayal against the backdrop of a chess championship.
