Album Notes & Community Reviews

Briefly returning to the United States after establishing himself in Europe, the supremely talented trumpeter leads a punchy, mid-sized ensemble featuring a young Julius Watkins on French horn. The charts are complex and tightly woven, providing an ideal platform for his searing, remarkably powerful upper-register soloing.
