Album Notes & Community Reviews

Griselda records stalwart Benny the Butcher delivers another uncompromising collection of gritty street narratives rooted in classic hardcore hip-hop. 'Excelsior' heavily utilizes boastful, crime-driven lyricism laid over raw, rhythmic East Coast sampling. The album proves to be a straightforward, hard-hitting continuation of his menacingly confident gangsta rap persona.
