Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded when the keyboard prodigy was only 17 years old, ''Nard' remains a colossal achievement in early 1980s jazz-funk and boogie. Produced by Dave Grusin, the album features infectious, Moog-driven grooves and deeply complex harmonic structures, famously providing the foundation for numerous prominent hip-hop samples in the following decades.
