Album Notes & Community Reviews

Teaming with producer Jon Brion, the Californian duo drastically polished the lo-fi, fuzz-heavy sound of their debut for this sophomore release. The crystal-clear production highlights Bethany Cosentino's bittersweet, sentimental songwriting and the band's warm, 1960s-indebted surf pop melodies.
