Album Notes & Community Reviews
A shimmering highlight of the Clube da Esquina collective's extended output, this sophomore release overflows with sweeping, melodic romanticism. Utilizing lush orchestral arrangements, ethereal 12-string guitars, and Guedes's impossibly high, delicate tenor, the compositions evoke the boundless, pastoral beauty of the Minas Gerais region. It firmly established him as a premier architect of Brazil's complex, symphonic pop landscape.
