Album Notes & Community Reviews

Expanding their lo-fi origins with horns, strings, and sweeping orchestrations, 'When Your Heartstrings Break' radiates with 1960s-inspired sunshine pop melodies. The juxtaposition of bright, buoyant instrumentation against profoundly melancholic lyrics became a defining characteristic of the indie rock collective's catalog.
