Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Mike D of the Beastie Boys, 'Now' sets Bhagavan Das's Sanskrit chanting against sarangi, ektar, tabla and dholak combined with Western drum and bass rhythms across eight tracks. On 'Shiva Gospel' he moves from Shiva mantras into a gospel shout to Jesus, and the album closes with 'Sri Krishna Arati', complete with conch blowing and bell ringing.
