Album Notes & Community Reviews

Guitarist Rise Kagona rebuilt the Bhundu Boys with a largely new lineup for 'Muchiyedza', a tribute to his late bandmates after three founding members died of AIDS between 1991 and 1993. Frontman Biggie Tembo, who had sung on the band's Zimbabwean number ones, was found dead in a Harare psychiatric hospital in July 1995, aged 37.
