Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Los Angeles with producer Peter Wolf, this release saw the Scottish group significantly tone down their signature bagpipe-emulating guitar sound in favor of synthesized pop rock. The polished, AOR-friendly arrangements were designed for American radio accessibility, marking a stark departure from the anthemic Celtic rock of their early successes. The commercial shift yielded mixed results, slightly alienating their passionate core audience.
