Album Notes & Community Reviews

'4eva Is a Mighty Long Time' is an ambitious double album that conceptually separates the artist's public and private personas across its two discs. The first half, as Big K.R.I.T., delivers confident, trunk-rattling Southern hip-hop, while the second half, as Justin Scott, offers a more introspective, spiritual, and soulful experience. Released independently after his departure from a major label, the album's production is rich with live instrumentation, gospel choirs, and funk samples, allowing K.R.I.T. to fully explore themes of legacy, faith, and personal struggle with acclaimed lyrical sincerity.
