Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Mississippi rapper and producer expands his signature, sample-heavy Southern hip-hop sound by enlisting outside producers like Raphael Saadiq, Jim Jonsin, and DJ Dahi for the first time. The loosely conceptual record traces the lifespan of a fictional planet, seamlessly balancing aggressive, trunk-rattling anthems with deeply philosophical, introspective soul-rap.
