Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Detroit rapper achieves his first number-one album with a noticeably darker, more introspective pivot from his usual radio-friendly anthems. Heavily utilizing brooding trap production and high-profile features from Drake, Kanye West, and Ariana Grande, the project tackles the anxieties of fame and recent personal tragedies. It successfully elevated him from a dependable hitmaker to a serious, album-oriented hip-hop heavyweight.
