Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the critical success of their debut, English punk duo BIG SPECIAL surprise-released their sophomore studio album, 'NATIONAL AVERAGE.'. Produced by Michael Clarke, the thirteen-track record expands the band's gritty post-industrial sound into a more funk-based style. Frontman Joe Hicklin's working-class poetry and dark humor tackle themes of brotherhood, societal tension, and the disorientation of success, backed by the taut, anxious rhythms of drummer Callum Moloney.
