Album Notes & Community Reviews

After a nearly six-year hiatus and significant line-up changes, frontman Damon Fox resurrects his highly theatrical, deeply 1970s-inspired progressive rock project, recruiting Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy on drums. 'Into the Maelstrom' perfectly blends incredibly heavy, fuzz-laden guitar riffs with wild, swirling Hammond organ and Mellotron orchestrations. It is a wonderfully nostalgic, fiercely psychedelic, and remarkably epic hard rock revival.
