Album Notes & Community Reviews
Deeply embedded within the legendary Soulquarians collective, Bilal's incredibly ambitious debut album is a cornerstone of the progressive neo-soul movement. '1st Born Second' pairs his staggering, jazz-trained vocal range with intricate, hip-hop infused production from Dr. Dre, J Dilla, and Questlove, blending raw sensuality with highly experimental arrangements.
