Album Notes & Community Reviews

After leaving Return to Forever to pursue acoustic music, guitarist Bill Connors recorded 'Theme to the Gaurdian' as a deeply introspective solo statement. The sparse, entirely instrumental session relies heavily on overdubbed acoustic guitars, perfectly aligning with the pristine, atmospheric aesthetic of the ECM label.
