Bill Cosby Is a Very Funny Fellow Right!

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at the Bitter End in Greenwich Village, this debut album introduced the comedian's highly influential, conversational storytelling style to a national audience. Eschewing the rapid-fire punchlines of traditional stand-up, he builds extended, relatable narratives focused on sports, childhood, and the absurdities of daily life. The massive success of this release fundamentally shifted the trajectory of American comedy toward observational, character-driven humor.
