Wonderfulness

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded live in Lake Tahoe, this release cemented the comedian's dominance over the 1960s comedy album market. Eschewing political commentary or racial themes, the highly animated set focuses entirely on universally relatable, deeply nostalgic childhood anecdotes and domestic observational humor. The masterful vocal sound effects and engaging, long-form storytelling earned the record a Grammy Award and massive mainstream commercial success.
