Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a thematic sequel to his acclaimed 1968 solo piano masterwork, 'Alone (Again)' captures Bill Evans engaging in deeply introspective, unaccompanied improvisations. The acoustic sessions feature the legendary pianist exploring standard ballads with his signature harmonic richness and rhythmic elasticity. The recording showcases an exquisite, vulnerable touch during a highly tumultuous period of his life.
