Album Notes & Community Reviews

Comprised of previously unreleased session material originally recorded in 1959, this archival treasure showcases the celebrated pianist in a surprisingly buoyant quartet setting. Alongside the fiery drumming of Philly Joe Jones and Paul Chambers on bass, the album offers a relaxed, deeply swinging document of post-bop interplay.
