Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded shortly after the tragic suicides of his brother and common-law wife, Bill Evans delivers an incredibly tender, profoundly sorrowful set of piano trio recordings. Released posthumously, 'You Must Believe in Spring' showcases his remarkably sensitive phrasing and beautiful harmonic intuition, creating a deeply sentimental, wintery, and profoundly peaceful acoustic jazz masterpiece.
