Album Notes & Community Reviews

Seeking to capitalize quickly on the unprecedented, culture-shifting explosion of 'Rock Around the Clock', this energetic collection is primarily structured to highlight the frantic showmanship of the backing band. The predominantly instrumental tracks heavily feature Rudy Pompilli's wailing saxophone and Franny Beecher's relentless, driving rhythms. While slightly lacking the massive vocal hits of their earlier records, it remains a vital document of the early, highly polished rock and roll aesthetic.
