Album Notes & Community Reviews

Snarky Puppy co-founders Bill Laurance and Michael League strip away their typically massive jazz-funk orchestrations for an incredibly intimate, acoustic duo recording. 'Where You Wish You Were' utilizes grand piano and oud, heavily influenced by North African and Mediterranean musical traditions. The album provides a deeply peaceful, meditative exploration of cross-cultural chamber jazz.
