Album Notes & Community Reviews

Monroe's seventh studio album was produced by Harry Silverstein and recorded mainly between October 1966 and January 1967 at Columbia's Nashville studio, with two tracks held over from earlier sessions. Its band was the most forward-looking of Monroe's career, with Peter Rowan on guitar, Richard Greene on fiddle and Monroe's son James on bass, and 'When My Blue Moon Turns to Gold Again' was released as a single ahead of the album.
