Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Osaka Bridge' documents a collaborative meeting between Scottish jazz composer Bill Wells and the Japanese avant-folk collective Maher Shalal Hash Baz. Released through the German label Karaoke Kalk, the album captures a joyful, intentionally amateurish approach to chamber jazz and experimental pop. The arrangements are exceptionally warm and quirky, thriving on soft, slightly dissonant acoustic interplay.
