Album Notes & Community Reviews

Documenting a series of fiery performances during their European tour, this live release captures the tenor saxophonist's ensemble operating at the peak of their improvisational powers. The extended tracks weave profound spiritual intensity with the aggressive harmonic structures of 1960s post-bop. Heavily celebrated among jazz purists, it is widely considered a monumental display of passionate, uncompromising modern jazz.
