Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following her highly successful covers-based debut, 'Fire Within' serves as Birdy's first album comprised entirely of original songwriting. Collaborating with prominent writers like Ryan Tedder and Dan Wilson, the British artist expanded her sparse piano ballads into fuller, chamber-pop and pop-rock arrangements. Her remarkably mature, melancholic vocal delivery shines throughout, proving her capability as a formidable original artist.
