Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded live at the Krokodil club in Kirchheim unter Teck in May 1980, the album documents a thirteen-year-old Romani guitarist who had begun playing at four and won a festival prize at Strasbourg at twelve. Issued the following year, it introduced the most celebrated Django Reinhardt disciple of his generation, a standing confirmed when he was invited to New York for a Reinhardt tribute alongside Larry Coryell only three years later.
