Album Notes & Community Reviews
Curated by the iconic Icelandic artist herself, this compilation features radically reconstructed remixes of tracks from her ambitious 'Biophilia' project. By enlisting underground electronic heavyweights such as Death Grips, Matthew Herbert, and Omar Souleyman, the ethereal, nature-focused originals are twisted into heavy, syncopated club bangers and abstract glitch soundscapes. It effectively recontextualizes her avant-pop compositions through the lens of early 2010s bass music.
