Album Notes & Community Reviews
Bj枚rk returns to rhythm and energy on 'Volta', enlisting Timbaland for beats and Konono No.1 for tribal textures. The album is colorful, political, and aggressive, a reaction to the domesticity of her previous work. It features the horn-heavy anthem 'Earth Intruders'.
