Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Catacombs of the Black Vatican' delivers Zakk Wylde's signature blend of pinch-harmonic laden guitar heroics and gritty, southern-fried heavy metal. This release marks the recorded debut of rhythm guitarist Dario Lorina, slotting comfortably into the band's groove-heavy, motorcycle-club aesthetic. While rarely deviating from the established Black Label Society formula, the record offers reliably crushing riffs and mournful acoustic balladry.
