Album Notes & Community Reviews

Veering even further from their already unorthodox origins, the secretive Australian project largely abandons extreme metal for a highly eclectic fusion of synthpop and heavy psych. 'Burning Bridges' is steeped in science fiction aesthetics and 1980s new wave melodies, resulting in a playful, intensely nostalgic atmosphere. The album maintains a nocturnal, slightly sinister undertone beneath its brightly colored, futuristic synthesizer hooks.
