Everything Returns

Marking their return after a sixteen-year hiatus, 'Everything Returns' is a beautiful and poignant album from the Montreal-based collective. Featuring members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Thee Silver Mt. Zion, the record continues their exploration of modern Jewish diasporic music. It's a somber and richly textured work of avant-folk, blending the mournful melodies of klezmer with chamber arrangements and a post-rock sensibility.
