Widely considered the absolute nadir of the heavy metal legends' extensive discography, the final album to feature vocalist Tony Martin was notoriously plagued by rushed recording sessions. The highly controversial inclusion of Body Count's Ernie C as producer resulted in an unexpectedly dry, distinctly modern mix that completely failed to flatter Tony Iommi's riffing. Following the album's critical and commercial failure, the band effectively dissolved before initiating highly lucrative classic-lineup reunions.
