Album Notes & Community Reviews
Aided by the incredibly dense, heavy production of Sly & Robbie, Black Uhuru's 'Red' is a landmark achievement in modern roots reggae. The trio's breathtaking vocal harmonies glide effortlessly over deeply rhythmic, heavy dub basslines, delivering a highly conscious, spiritually rich, and beautifully bittersweet political masterpiece.
