Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as a solo outlet for Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff, this highly ambitious debut album is a massive, unapologetic homage to 1980s arena pop. 'Strange Desire' utilizes gigantic, heavily gated drum machines and incredibly bright synthesizer arrangements to build overwhelmingly anthemic, highly melodic choruses. The record provides a wonderfully uplifting, deeply sentimental, and wildly energetic celebration of maximalist pop music.
