Album Notes & Community Reviews

The New York producer's fourth solo album masterfully weaves obscure vinyl samples into highly rhythmic, psychedelic hip-hop instrumentals. Known extensively for his work with Aesop Rock, Blockhead shifts his focus towards building standalone, cinematic beats that require no vocal accompaniment. The title track gained widespread acclaim, bolstered by a famously surreal, animated music video.
