Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Novella of Uriel' is the second album by the Connecticut metalcore band Blood Has Been Shed, fronted by vocalist Howard Jones before his move to Killswitch Engage. Its dissonant, rhythmically complex arrangements and Jones's alternating screams and sung passages anticipated the direction of American metalcore in the following years.
