Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album from the Brighton duo, 'Box of Secrets' is a raw and energetic explosion of indie rock. Comprised solely of Laura-Mary Carter's fierce guitar riffs and vocals and Steven Ansell's powerful drumming and co-vocals, the album is a testament to their minimalist but massive sound. Tracks like 'It's Getting Boring by the Sea' and 'I Wish I Was Someone Better' became instant indie anthems, defined by their urgent pace, catchy hooks, and the fiery chemistry between the two musicians.
