Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut by Fort Worth group Bloodrock established the band's direct, riff-centered approach before their later commercial breakthrough. Produced by Terry Knight, 'Bloodrock' connects late-1960s Texas garage heaviness with the emerging hard rock market of the early 1970s, emphasizing blunt ensemble playing and dark imagery.
