Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pivoting away from the macabre hard rock of their earlier efforts, 'Passage' finds the Texan outfit exploring intricate progressive rock textures. The addition of new instrumentalists broadened their sonic palette, resulting in mellower, keyboard-driven arrangements and complex harmonic shifts. While alienating some foundational fans, it represents a bold, atmospheric reinvention.
